Abstract
In this paper, magnetic flux control method is used to analyze a four-switch three-phase inverter for low-cost AC motor drive. Eight voltage vectors are summarized, of which four are selected to control AC motor in SPWM pattern. A new concept spending time by flyback is proposed based on that a four-switch three-phase inverter has no zero vector. The study in this paper will help to achieve a more effective high-quality control of AC motor.
