Abstract :
According to the fact that the harmonic component caused by motor commutation in the motor armature voltage contains the information of motor´s speed, this paper analyzes the no-coupling testing method of motor speed and focuses on comparing some digital signal processing methods applied in no-coupling testing method of motor speed including STFT, classical spectrum estimation and modern spectrum estimation. And a comparison is also made among the different methods from the aspects of the correctness and elapsed time of computation. The results show that more desirable testing results can be obtained by STFT in a short time.
