Abstract :
A new synthesis approach for adaptive nonlinear control of positioning system is proposed. The systematic synthesis provides flexible design flows allowing intelligent and different system architectures and schemes for the control systems under study. This provides a new capability for intelligent system design at an early design stage to meet the different performance requirements and be able to adapt to operational and/or environmental variations. This design approach also links system gain tuning with the parameter variations explicitly and quantitatively. The effectiveness of the new control system is verified by extensive experimental results.
