Abstract
A three-phase squirrel-cage induction motor is controlled using direct torque control (DTC) technique over a number of operating modes. Major characteristics of the motor including current, speed and developed torque are estimated and compared to the experimental (measured) results. A good agreement between the modelling results and test results are achieved
