Abstract :
Charts are widely applied to engineering, design, analysis, forecast, medicine and other fields. Chart auto-recognition can reduce manual work greatly. Being different from previous works, which only can process fixed characteristic symbols, a model based on foreground/background separation, which can process stochastic curve, is presented in this paper.
