"Flexible Double Auction for Electronic Commerce: Theory and Implementation"
by Peter Wurman, William Walsh, Michael Wellman.
in Decision Support Systems, Vol 24, Issue 1, November 1998, pp. 17-27 ElsevierThis paper designs a mechanism for online auctions that admit multiple buyers and sellers. The auction mechanism not only accords with the characters of network but has such merits as admitting bidding for the multi-unit goods, clearing online auctions, inducing truthful revelation of values by buyers and sellers and realizing the most economic allocation. Numeral results and mechanism implementation algorithms show the efficiency and applicability of our mechanism.
