  • Abstract
    We investigate an optimal birth control problem for linear periodic age-dependent population dynamics, which is controlled by fertility. By using the conception of the normal cone, we obtain the necessary condition of optimality for the problem (OH). Finally, the uniqueness of the optimal control is given.
