  • Abstract
The concept of the left, the right and the midst projection which one fuzzy vector projects on another is introduced in this paper. The purpose is to propose a new criterion to select an optimal alternative in fuzzy multi-attribute decision-making environment. Using the concept of the left, the right and the midst projection, each alternative is projected on the fuzzy weighted vector. A measure function that is composed of the left projection coefficient, the right projection coefficient and the midst projection coefficient is constructed to measure each alternative. The decision-making criterion is that the more the measure functions, the more superior the alternative is.
