  • Abstract
    Motivated by applications in an area of control of networked systems, we consider a fault detection problem for a class of linear systems with random delays. We demonstrate that an observer can be developed to detect the fault occurrence even though the delay value is unknown and is modeled by a random Markov process with a finite number of states.
