Abstract :
A recent industry-led European research project investigated the potential of a number of advanced analysis techniques for use in the clearance of flight control laws for highly augmented aircraft. Among the analysis techniques considered in the project were methods based on /spl mu/-analysis and the structured singular value. This paper summarises the approach taken by the authors in attempting to develop advanced robustness analysis tools for highly complex, and highly formalised, industrial flight clearance problems.
