Abstract :
The physical basis of frequency selection is considered for electromagnetic waves, reflected by a rough metal surface. The paper investigates the interdependence of metallic surface parameters and the frequency selection properties for reflected electromagnetic radiation with regard to dissipating IR radiation on millimeter-wave antenna mirrors. The coincidence of experimental and calculated data on the spectral properties of a millimeter-wave antenna mirror in the IR frequency band is obtained.
