Abstract :
A space-time channel estimator for multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) system of the HIPERLAN/2 type with a moderate complexity is proposed. For the correlated receive antenna, the conventional time domain MMSE is improved by virtue of the spatial correlation. The mean square error performance of the algorithms is analyzed. Its performance is illustrated by the analysis and computer simulations. The derived algorithms provide good performance with a moderate complexity.
