Abstract
This paper describes a novel approach for using Web-based technology to manage en route research for the Federal Aviation Administration. Using the validation data repository (VDR) FAA will manage planned and ongoing en route research to support National Airspace System (NAS) modernization. Information about the approach, the VDR, its history, development, and use, planned activities, and future improvements is described.
