Abstract
This paper presents an even harmonic direct conversion receiver for WCDMA applications. The receiver uses a very low noise LNA to provide the system gain and noise requirements. An even harmonic pumping mixer converts the RF signal to baseband signal. This cost effective mixer is well suited for DC Offset and even harmonics suppression. In order to decrease the receiver size, some techniques such as reduced size branch tine coupler and Wilkinson power divider with the lumped elements are used. The simulation results show that the proposed receiver specifications fully satisfy the requirements of the WCDMA receiver.
