Abstract :
In this paper, qnadri-phase shift keying (QPSK) and ofiset QPSK (OQPSK) modulation formats?? performances are comparatively examined for a specific power amplifier (PA) nonlinearity model. For this purpose, a new descriptive evaluation parameter, r, is introduced instead of conventional input oue-dB compression point (PIdBb)a ckoff. Related bit error ratio (BER) -simulated in an AWGN channel with a golden unit receiver model- and EVM (Error Vector Magnitude) discussions are made.
