Abstract
Common knowledge base grid system paid more attention to formal structure and distributed schedule strategy. Without abandoning those points, the paper presents a mechanism to describe the local pattern in KB-grid system and a method to control its evolution, which can improve the efficiency and expansibility of that system a lot. A formalized model is used to symbolize the essential elements in that system. Some rules are defined with aid of the type theory in software architecture to promise the specification and evolution of heal pattern. A new knowledge object, called local knowledge state, that can redirect path in that system and evolve to different field knowledge is formed during this process. Experimental results of a case study show that it can improve the efficiency and expansibility of a KB-grid system.
