Abstract :
Through the research on the principle of biological immune system, an innovative intrusion detection immune system model is presented and analyzed in full. For enhancing the efficiency and flexibility of immune system, we divide gene bank into four independently genera gene banks, which are user genus, network genus, system genus and course genus, and introduce a genetic algorithm, ameliorated by a simulated annealing algorithm to generate and evolve each gene bank. This novel intrusion detection system model has the properties of distributed protection, flexibility, scalability, and diversity, robustness, adaptability, and memory and anomaly detection
