Abstract
A novel dynamic channel allocation scheme, based on network optimization in CDMA networks, is proposed in this paper. It establishes an integer programming model for constant bit rate (CBR) services, which allocates channels after every few time slots. The trade off between the QoS of users and system performance can be obtained through analysis and simulation. The simulation results show that this optimal scheme both improves the channel usage and guarantees the QoS, compared with the traditional voice-first allocation algorithm and priority-based allocation algorithm.
