Abstract
Enormous research has been done to study the enterprise integration after mergence and acquisition (M&A) from the perspective of the resource allocation. However, there are very few literatures, which analyze the common nature of the enterprise integration. This article analyzes systematically the enterprise integration process after M&A based on enterprise organization habitual domains (EOHD). Firstly, the importance of the integration in M&A is addressed and the current status of the research on enterprise integration is reviewed. Secondly, by redefining the integration, the article points out the negative effects of EOHD to the integration and proposes a three-phase model. Thirdly, two integration cases during M&A by Cisco are analyzed using the three-phase model. Finally, the conclusion is drawn.
