Intellectual property issues for R&D management of global-industry academic links

This work considers intellectual property issues for R&D management in the context of global industry-academic links. The value of intellectual property, a central factor in technology management, in University research is described, and an overview of some differences concerning international ownership of intellectual property is considered. In view of these findings implications are drawn and conclusions are made concerning the impact for R&D management.
