Abstract :
We will describe our definition of an enterprise student. We will then share our strategy in fostering innovation and enterprise, particularly on creating the enterprising originals. The strategy is "inspiration, experiential learning and partnership". The \´enterprising originals\´ is the result of our partnership with students in designing experiential learning activities for them. This experience has led the authors to believe that enterprise education is a total learning experience. It should be flexible, dynamic and is designed and implemented upon strong partnerships. Innovation and enterprising teaching and learning is therefore not a teaching module in conventional curriculum but is how we facilitate students to use their innovation and enterprise in learning any part of the curriculum as well as their experiences in the academic institution. The authors of this paper will illustrate their understanding of and experiences in innovation and enterprise learning from the programmes and activities done in the last few years.
