Abstract :
This work explores and summarizes the current state of literature concerning risk management in modular product development, and offers new insights based on pilot case studies. The paper focuses on risks in the collaborative design of modular product development. Based on previous studies as well as our field observations, we provide some conclusions to manage the risks in collaborative modular product development.
