Abstract
This paper presents some models of shunt active power filters developed in the frequency domain to be used in iterative harmonic algorithms. First, the more relevant methods used to compute the reference current of active power filters are revised. Then, their corresponding frequency models are derived. Finally, some examples of application are described. An appendix containing the mathematical details about the terms contained in the Jacobian matrices needed for the analysis in the frequency domain is included.
