  • Abstract
It is shown that the self-resonant wire meshes located on a thin metal-hacked substrate form full-angle impedance surfaces, which behave as a magnetic conductor at the resonance, and the resonant band is rather wide. An application of a magnetic conductor in a coplanar isolator containing a thin ferrite film is theoretically considered. Introducing the magnetic wall significantly increases the non-reciprocity.
