Abstract
The radiation pattern of an L-probe fed patch antenna mounted on a finite solid conducting cylinder is accurately computed by the electric field integral equation in conjunction with the method of moments. Attachment mode was used to ensure the continuity of current in the direction of current flow in the probe-cylinder conjunction point. The numerical results agree with the measurement and other available numerical data.
