Abstract :
Based on the basic definition of microwave radiometer characterization, a test system for small antenna MMW radiometer characterization is developed. All data acquisition and analysis are automatically realized. The system is applied to test characterizations of an 8 mm Dicke radiometer. Main characterizations (calibration equation, linearity, sensitivity, stability, integration time) of the radiometer are obtained and the results show that the system is highly reliable.
