Abstract :
According to the idea, which the application of smart multi-beam antennas in the mobile communication systems should be blended in well with cellular configuration, a novel circular layered cellular configuration model is proposed, where the cellular region is divided into circular zones by means of vertical splitting of radiation pattern of the smart antenna. All of the numerical simulation results illuminate the novel cellular configuration model is an attractive one, including performance of carrier interference ratio and the covering optimization based on the CIR resulting form users´ position distribution.
