Abstract :
Coherent antiStokes Raman scattering (CARS) microscope is a new molecular identification tool with high spatial resolution. Nonstaining molecular identification is achieved by observing the molecular vibrations any molecule have, and high spatial resolution image is obtained by the nonlinear optical process. We have developed the far-field and near-field CARS microscopy systems for three dimensional imaging and ultra-high resolution imaging.
