Abstract :
The representation of 1/f signal via multiwavelet transformation has been explored in this paper. It is shown that 1/f signal (not near-1/f signal) can be represented by multiwavelet synthetic formula and also the property of a statistically self-similar signal can be characterized by the matrix of correlation functions of multiwavelet coefficients in multiwavelet domain. The representation of 1/f signal with wavelet bases is only the special case of this paper.
