Abstract :
We first discuss the recurrence relation of transfer matrix Tm of the 2-dimensional (1,∞)-constrained and symmetric permutation matrix Pm such that TmnPm=PmTmn (m,n=1, 2,...). Then the number of 2-dimensional valid arrays are shown to satisfy a linear recurrence relation with a finite order, approximately equal to dim(Tm)/2 for large m.
