Abstract :
A space time block code concatenated with turbo code suitable for hybrid automatic repeat request system is proposed and its transmission schemes are analyzed in this paper. Among them, the scheme which uses the parity bits of turbo code more frequently outperforms the other schemes up to 1.6 dB at bit error rate of 10-5. Thus the proposed system with this transmission scheme is considered to be an appropriate one to provide high-quality and high-rate service for the future communication systems.
