Abstract :
To improve performance and low computational complexity, a successive interference cancellation (SIC) scheme for unitary space-time modulated direct-sequence code division multiple access (DS-CDMA) system is proposed. The proposed scheme can mitigate the multiple access interference (MAI) using SIC multiuser detection scheme and obtain space-time diversity using the unitary space-time modulation without linear operation like space-time block code. The bit error rate (BER) performance of the proposed scheme for coherent phase shift keying (PSK) modulation is analytically examined in Rayleigh fading channels and computer simulations demonstrate its validity and usefulness.
