Abstract :
Theoretical results have shown the potential usefulness of Ca3NbGa3Si2O14 (CNGS) crystals for surface acoustic wave (SAW) applications. The existence of orientations of CNGS with zero temperature coefficient for SAW has been predicted on thin material constants determined by the present authors. Thin simulation has been carried out so that the temperature-compensated Rayleigh SAW is located around a (30°, 45°, 110°) substrate with v of 3120m/s, and k2 of 0.46%.
