Abstract :
The efficiency of pulse conditioning optimal modes at duration equal to the breakdown delay time in vacuum is investigated. New methods and criterions of cathode initiation estimate at dc are presented. Use of pulse conditioning optimal regimes gives the grounds for definition of the top border of cathode mechanism application at the limit electric strength in de regime.
