Abstract
In this paper, an induction motor under mixed air gap eccentricity condition is simulated by modified winding function approach. Then, the stator current is used for detection of eccentricity condition by Fourier transform and the wavelet packet decomposition is proposed as a useful and correct method to detect and diagnose of eccentricity. And it is proposed as a method to other faults that occur in three-phase induction motor alone or together, because in this method, faults can detect and isolate from each other very well.
