Abstract
Experimental results and calculations of the distribution of a magnetic field in biological tissue under intracavity treatment by a small-size inductor are presented. It is shown that the inductor (solenoid), in both air and biological tissue (BT), does not produce uniform distribution of the magnetic field created around its lateral surface. Therefore, this should be taken into consideration when designing irradiators for intracavity treatment.
