  • Abstract
    In the last decades, high intensity infra-red laser radiation has been more widely used in neurosurgical practice alongside microsurgical techniques and optics. The use of original surgical laser technologies for some diseases allows better clinical results of treatment to be achieved in comparison with known and widely used methods. The purpose of the study was to substantiate the use and to estimate the efficiency of a Nd:YAG laser for various neurosurgical pathologies.
