Abstract :
Electro-optical and temporal characteristics of composites with spatial periodic structure and traditional PDLC were measured. Driving voltage, response times, and contrast ratio of both materials, were compared. The possible application of the materials as diffraction gratings with electrically, controlled diffraction efficiency in depend on material structure was analyzed.
