Abstract
A new approach to active "off-line" identification of induction motor equivalent circuit parameters has been considered. The algorithm to be used in field-oriented control electric drives with self excited voltage inverters provides automatic self-tuning of the control system at every start. The identification procedure involves the analysis of test voltage response of the motor, with phase stator currents only being measured.
