Abstract
Multi sensor electro-optic systems (MSEOS) are widely used in defense and para-military application. The MSEOS described in this paper is composed of a turret, electronic box and hand handler units. The turret design is the main challenge in EMC point of view since it contains sensitive equipment as TV and FLIR sensors and noisy components like motor´s drivers, laser range finder, and DC/DC converters. We describe quick radiated susceptibility analysis methods for the turret subsystem and specify some of the design techniques use to meet MIL-STD-461 requirements as well as internal EMC compliance. The quick analysis is required especially after request for proposal (RFQ ) phase and in the early stage of the project
