Abstract
In this note we discuss monotonicity and convergence to equilibria in certain classes of chemical reaction networks. The results do not assume any specific structure of the dynamical equations involved (e.g. mass-action kinetics), and only rely on stoichiometric constraints. The idea is to find a suitable linear change of coordinates under which the resulting system is cooperative.
