Abstract
An Extrinsic Information Transfer (EXIT) framework to derive the BER of turbo decoding for fading MIMO wireless channels is presented in this work. Closed form BER expressions are derived for turbo decoding in maximum ratio combining (MRC), MIMO Zero Forcing, MIMO V-BLAST and MIMO beamforming wireless systems considering BPSK modulation. Simulation results demonstrate accurate BER prediction for an arbitrary number of antennas and iterations in all the turbo BER regions.
