Abstract :
The paper proposes a scheduling algorithm for a MPEG-2 transport stream multiplexer (TSM) and explains its implementation using software and hardware for a personal video recorder (PVR) system. Our proposed method can be used to generate an MPEG-2 TS stream, a self-encoded stream format (SESF) transport stream and a transparent recoding format with EP_map/TU_map mode for BD-RE (rewritable Blu-ray disc).
