Abstract :
A new electronic system of digital optical metering unit (OMU) is proposed to assist high-voltage measuring, which can simultaneously monitor both current and voltage of busbars. The emphasis is put upon the error analysis of data sampling and transmitting modules within the OMU. Besides, numerical calculation is performed to make a correction on the measuring error. It is shown from the analysis in the paper that not only the measuring error can be reduced within a wide range of frequency, but also data recovery and synchronization can be obtained ideally.
