Abstract
A state plane approach to the steady state analysis and design of the high-order hybrid resonant converter operated in the CCM and DCM is presented. The sampled-data approximated dynamic model is also obtained. A state feedback control technique that can be easily implemented is proposed to improve the stability and dynamic characteristic of resonant converters. A prototype unit has been built to verify the theoretical results. The experimental results confirm the validity of the proposed control.
