Abstract :
Using the local computer network of a building as model for an optimization task, this paper examines a network constructed on a family of Ethernet network technologies since these networks are the most widespread network used. As an estimation of an optimality of the project, criterion of cost was chosen. With the aid of mathematical programming methods and special heuristic algorithms, the least structure of outgoing of the local computer network of a building that satisfies the given characteristics may be determined.
