Abstract
In the seventies robotics and automation had been first introduced in prefabrication of components and houses. In the eighties first mobile onsite construction robots had been developed. These developments were followed by integrated building construction sites in the nineties. Presently humanoid robotic technology is being developed for construction site and building service application. This paper shows examples from Japan, USA and Europe
