  • Abstract
This paper analyses the state of thc att in Intcrnct Inter-domain routing. The de-facto protocol, BGP version 4, has been studied in many papers. The sire and propertics of the BGP table are very important in ordcr to plan and implement thc protocol in an efficient and scalable way. It is also important to know what thc convergence propertics are for the protocol itself to converge in order thc operate networks in a secure manner. And it is not less important is to know at what extent BGP can hc considered secure and what alternatives thc research community is considering. This paper analyzes all the issues that are object of study for the research community.
