Abstract
Environmental management has achieved a growing status due 10 rising ecological challenges and policies within companies. In order for an environmentally oriented management to bc able to gain influence in time, problems and mistakes must he recognized quickly. tiowcver, it is problematic that the variety and complexity of the existing envjronmental data and information are datively high. To the recording, analysis and treatment of these data and infoimation, efficient and extensive information systems have a essential importance. The introduced model of an industrial environmental management information system developed via internal logistics should represent a basis for such a system.
