Abstract
One appropriate model for modeling uncertain or inaccurate information is rough set theory which was introduced and studied by Z. Pawlak together with A. Skowron, A. Ohrn, J. Konorowski. A significant area in the field of Medical Informatics is concerned with learning of medical models from low-level data. In the analysis of the chagas disease one advantage of the rough set approach is that a set readable If-Then rules is produced. Such rules have a potential to reveal new medical insight.
